Impact for OneSight’s donors isn’t just in the donation, it’s also about their own experience and involvement they feel with the cause. A cause with an ambitious goal. Eradicating the world of the unseen vision care crisis—which is about more than just blurred vision.
1 in 7 people worldwide lack access to quality vision care. Without clear sight, earning potential is constricted, children struggle in school, and life for families is dramatically limited. OneSight is the global charity dedicated to helping the world see better and live better. But they couldn’t make the impact they make without the generosity and support of thousands of volunteers, donors and partners from all over the world. That’s why when the end of 2016 was near, OneSight wanted to thank them for their contributions—sending a strong message of gratitude and reinforcing the importance of each individual—evoking feelings of pride that would keep them engaged, involved and committed. Through bold typography and a mobile responsive microsite, we created impact stacks that brought supporters into an immersive experience of surprising yet simple numbers that highlighted results and return on involvement, demonstrated sight empowerment and celebrated their participation in a mission for humanity.
This site generated $3,230 total donations with an average donation of $140. While this number may seem modest, it was over 2x the average repeat donation and 4.5x greater than first time donations on their largest single fundraising day prior. And we created a feeling of empowerment among OneSight’s base for the difference they can make in 2017.
