The Front-end Developer is a solution-oriented thinker responsible for bringing the user experiences created with their teams to life through code. This position requires a technology-focused professional who can plan, execute, maintain, and adapt digital experiences to enhance the marketing of brands. Full-stack experience appreciated, but not required.
Identifies digital opportunity for the Agency and clients, from ideation to execution.
Participates in multi-team client projects regarding the development of digital products/tactics.
Develops interactive prototypes to conceptualize and develop innovative approaches for clients’ marketing initiatives.
Responsible for agency-wide digital development/coding.
Participates and adds value in client-facing presentations.
Adds creative and cultural value to the Agency in individual ways.
Able to adapt designs and/or work with designers when faced with hurdles.
Able to identify issues early and collaborate to solve them.
An interest in learning about and adopting new technologies to improve output, workflow, and/or reliability.
Able to work within the parameters of clients’ technical needs and environments.
Minimal and thoughtful use of third-party plugins, frameworks, and libraries.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, New Media, Software Engineering, Media Arts or related field and a minimum of three years’ experience working in creative/research and development/agency environments or an equivalent combination of related work experience, training and/or education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in multiple development disciplines (web, native iOS/MacOS applications, installations, creative coding).
Experience with modern web development practices including but not limited to:
Build process creation and modification
Deployment and integration best practices
Asset distribution and cacheing
Cross-browser pitfalls and solutions
Mobile-first best practices
Meaningful experience with the following languages, tools, frameworks, and platforms, or their equivalents:
Experience with accessibility best practices for the web
Expert MAC OS.
Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
