The Social Media Strategist is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive, creative social media strategies to increase brand awareness, distinction, web traffic, and audience reach across channels for the Agency and our clients.
Participates in multi-team client projects to design social media strategies to achieve clients’ marketing goals.
Identifies social media opportunities and develops strategic plans for the Agency and clients that will drive engagement, leads and sales.
Leads “social listening” practice, staying abreast of audience sentiment and makes proactive recommendations to maximize opportunities or manage risks.
Performs social media audits to understand competitive landscapes.
Partners with client leadership, writers, designers, producers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
Participates and adds value in client-facing presentations.
Stays up-to-date on new digital technologies, social channels and social media best practices.
Is an advocate for social media and educates the agency and clients on its value.
Leads social media reporting and analysis for agency and client activity.
Maintains a consistent, high presence for Truth Collective in relevant social channels.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies or related field and a minimum of two years’ prior experience using social media for brand awareness or an equivalent combination of related work experience, training and/or education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Proficiency in social media listening tools/platforms.
Proficiency with content creation and publishing platforms.
